DevOps & Infrastructure

Infrastructure that stays up, and a cloud bill that stays honest.

We run our own Proxmox clusters and manage AWS for clients — CI/CD, containers, monitoring, backups. You get reliability engineering without hiring a platform team.

What's included

What you actually get

CI/CD pipelines

Push-to-deploy pipelines on GitHub Actions or GitLab CI — tests, builds, and releases automated so deploys stop being events.

Cloud architecture on AWS

Right-sized AWS setups: compute, databases, queues, CDN. We design for your actual traffic and put budget alerts on everything.

Containers & orchestration

Docker images that build reproducibly, and orchestration matched to your size — from a single well-run VPS to Kubernetes when it is genuinely needed.

Monitoring & alerting

Uptime checks, logs, metrics, and alerts that page a human only when a human is needed. You learn about problems from dashboards, not customers.

Backups & disaster recovery

Automated, tested backups with a written recovery runbook. A backup that has never been restored is a hope, not a plan — we test restores.

Cost audits

A line-by-line review of your cloud spend. Most teams we audit are paying for idle resources, oversized instances, or the wrong pricing model entirely.

How we work

Scope, build, ship, run.

The same four phases every MCQuare engagement follows. You always know which one you're in.

01

Scope

A real conversation about what you are building and what is actually hard. You leave with a written scope — what we will build, what we will not, and why.

02

Build

Weekly deploys from week one. You see the thing taking shape, not a project board.

03

Ship

Deployed to your infrastructure or ours, with monitoring, alerts, and a runbook included in the deliverable.

04

Run

We keep the lights on for as long as you want us to — or hand over cleanly and get out of the way.

FAQ

Common questions

We have no DevOps person. Can you run our infrastructure?

Yes — that is the most common setup. We act as your ops team: pipelines, monitoring, on-call response, and monthly maintenance, for a fraction of a full-time hire. Everything is documented so you are never locked in.

Can you reduce our AWS bill?

Usually. We start with a cost audit covering idle resources, instance sizing, storage tiers, and Reserved or Savings Plan coverage. Clients typically see meaningful reductions without any change their users can feel.

Do we need Kubernetes?

Probably not yet. Most products run happily on containers on a few well-managed VMs. We recommend Kubernetes when your scale or team structure justifies it — and we will say so plainly when it does not.

What happens when something breaks at 2am?

Alerts fire to us before your customers notice, in most cases. Managed infrastructure clients get an agreed response time and a post-incident write-up — what broke, why, and what we changed so it does not happen again.
