Common questions
Why n8n instead of Zapier or Make?
Per-task pricing. Zapier and Make charge by the task, so a workflow that runs 50,000 times a month becomes a serious bill. Self-hosted n8n runs the same workload for the cost of a small server — and your data never leaves your infrastructure. We wrote a full n8n vs Zapier comparison on our blog.
What kinds of processes can be automated?
If a human is moving data between two tools by copy-paste, it can almost always be automated: lead routing, invoicing, report generation, inventory sync, onboarding sequences. The scoping call maps your processes and ranks them by hours saved.
What happens when one of our tools changes its API?
That is what maintenance is for. Workflows are monitored, and when a third-party API changes, we update the integration. This is the part DIY automation setups usually miss until something silently breaks.
Do we need technical staff to run this?
No. We host and maintain the n8n instance and the workflows on it. Your team interacts with the results — the synced CRM, the sent invoice, the generated report — not the plumbing.
