UI/UX Design

Design that ships, not design that sits in Figma.

We design interfaces alongside the engineers who build them — so nothing gets lost in handoff, and every screen is designed around what is actually feasible to ship.

What's included

What you actually get

Product & UX strategy

User flows, information architecture, and wireframes grounded in what your users are trying to do — validated against real constraints before pixels get polished.

Interface design in Figma

High-fidelity screens and interactive prototypes you can click through, test with users, and hand to stakeholders — before a line of code is written.

Design systems

Component libraries with tokens, states, and usage rules — so screen fifty looks like screen five, and new features do not need a designer on every ticket.

Usability review & testing

Structured reviews of existing products and moderated tests of prototypes. You get a prioritized fix list, not a vague critique.

Design-to-code handoff

Because our designers sit with our engineers, handoff is a conversation, not a Figma link thrown over a wall. What you approve is what ships.

Brand & visual identity support

Logo refinement, color and type systems, and the visual language your product and marketing share — enough to look coherent everywhere.

How we work

Scope, build, ship, run.

The same four phases every MCQuare engagement follows. You always know which one you're in.

01

Scope

A real conversation about what you are building and what is actually hard. You leave with a written scope — what we will build, what we will not, and why.

02

Build

Weekly deploys from week one. You see the thing taking shape, not a project board.

03

Ship

Deployed to your infrastructure or ours, with monitoring, alerts, and a runbook included in the deliverable.

04

Run

We keep the lights on for as long as you want us to — or hand over cleanly and get out of the way.

FAQ

Common questions

Can you design without building, or build without designing?

Both. We take design-only engagements that end in a complete Figma system and handoff docs, and we build from designs your own team made. The advantage of doing both with us is that nothing gets lost between the two.

How is this different from hiring a freelance designer?

Feasibility. Every screen we design is reviewed by the engineers who will build it, while it is still cheap to change. You avoid the classic cycle of beautiful designs that get quietly butchered during implementation.

Do you do user research?

Yes, scoped to what early-stage products actually need: stakeholder interviews, user flow mapping, and moderated usability tests on prototypes. Enough to de-risk the big decisions without a six-figure research program.

What do we get at the end?

A Figma file with your full design system — components, tokens, and documented states — plus clickable prototypes for every core flow. It is yours, and any competent team can build from it.
